For the past 20 years, Chef Asif has been cooking up creative and delicious dishes in Glasgow , Born in Lahore, Chef Asif constantly travelled to Pakistan to further develop his culinary cooking skills, This helped him develop an interest and passion for cooking, and he stated his first job in the restaurant industry as am assistant side chef. Born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, Chef Asif produces the most amazing tasting food that the Ottoman Coffeehouse has ever seen. He has an excellent knack of knowing how to present and order dishes in a way that would enhance their flavour, He first started working in the Shenaz as a Chefs Assistant at the age 17 years old and he has continued to work at some of Glasgow’s well known restaurants including Ashoka and Café India.

As he continues to work at the Ottoman Coffeehouse, we fall deeper in love with his craft, and we hope you’ll get a chance to savour his food soon.
